Getting Started

Login to your BountySite Control panel

  • chevron_rightOn first login, you will prompted to add a new site.
  • chevron_right Add a new site
  • chevron_right Click on Buy Package
  • chevron_right Choose currency if you want to change
  • chevron_right Choose tenure from dropdown and quantity
  • chevron_right You can continue to add to cart
  • chevron_right To checkout click checkout button on top menu bar.
  • chevron_right Click Checkout to process
  • chevron_right The requested package will be automatically provisioned and you will receive Notification via mail and web
  • chevron_right To check web notification, click on Notifications drop down in top bar and click on Notifications
Configure Backup

After buying Backup Package, you can now configure FTP and Database details

  • chevron_right Go to side menu "Manage sites and backups" -> "FTP Backup"
  • chevron_right Fill in details are shown in video
  • chevron_right On FTP and Database, click Verify details button to validate credentials
  • chevron_right On Mysql make sure you have the IP mentioned in the form added to Remote Mysql host
  • chevron_right Mysql Host is automatically set to FTP Host. In case, Mysql host is different, you can go to Add Database section for adding Mysql host different from FTP Host
  • chevron_right After successfully configuring Backup, Schedule an immediate backup by clicking on Schedule Backup Now button on the new page
Add another Database

Depending on your Backup Package purchased, you can more databases under the same mysql host.

  • chevron_right Go to side menu "Manage sites and backups" -> "DB Backup"
  • chevron_right While entering Mysql Host, do note that this will overwrite existing Mysql Host. Multiple databases can be configured under one Mysql Host only.
File Explorer and Restores

Post successfull backup, you can browse through files.

  • chevron_right Go to side menu "Manage sites and backups" -> "Restore"
  • chevron_right Click on Explore button to traverse through directories and files that have been backed up
  • chevron_right To previous snapshot, click on Explore on corresponding button
  • chevron_right To restore Web files to specific revision, click on Restore corresponding to the time, that you want to restore
  • chevron_right For database restore, click on Type dropdown and set to Database, instead of Web.
File by Types

Files are categorized based on known/unknown/suspicious/malicious.

Stable Operating Mode

How to set Stable Operating Mode to auto revert file changes on every backup.

  • chevron_right Go to side menu "Manage sites and backups" -> "Restore"
  • chevron_right Decide on the revision, you want to set as Stable, as the revision the live Site should always be automatically set as.
  • chevron_right Change Backup operating mode to Stable
